Meet the Newest Cruisers
Kevin & Marshon
Lakewood
Kevin and Marshon’s love for RVing started in different ways, but it’s become a shared passion that brings them closer together. Kevin has been RVing since he was a child, spending countless weekends and holidays with his family exploring the great outdoors. From those early adventures, he developed a deep appreciation for the freedom and excitement of life on the road. When he and Marshon got married, he couldn't wait to introduce her to the joys of RV living, and she quickly caught the bug.
Though they both have full-time jobs, they try to escape whenever they can, often staying close to home to make the most of their weekends. Their favorite spot is Mountain Lakes in the Lytle Creek area, where they can enjoy a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature.
Marshon loves the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere of the Cruisers.
Steve & Aretha
San Diego
Steve and Aretha are our newest members to the RVing community, having just embarked on their journey three months ago. While Aretha is a recent convert to the RV life, Steve has been RVing for several years and was eager to share his passion with her. They’ve already fallen in love with the lifestyle and are in the process of downsizing, planning to become full-timers starting in January—exciting times ahead!
Aretha first heard about the Club from another Cruiser she met on Facebook, and it didn’t take long for her to realize this was exactly what she was looking for. She’s truly embraced the spirit and kinship of the community, and it’s been a big part of what has made their RV experience so special so far.
Though they’re still new to RVing, they’ve already discovered some favorite spots, including the military campsites at Pt. Mugu and Camp Pendleton.
Abdulmalik & Halimah
La Verne
Abdulmalik and Halimah’s RV journey began nearly a decade ago, and in the past two and a half years, they've fully embraced the full-time RV lifestyle, exploring the country and beyond. Originally from Long Island, NY, and Connecticut, they’ve been able to blend their love of adventure with their careers, especially Abdulmalik’s consulting work that’s taken them across the globe. In fact, they proudly say they’ve traveled to every continent except Antarctica—an impressive feat for anyone, let alone a family living out of an RV!
They’ve circled the country twice now, and while every destination holds its charm, one of the most relaxing and memorable places they’ve visited was Warthen RV Park in Warthen, GA, an African American-owned park that left a lasting impression on Halimah.
Their last trip, however, wasn’t all smooth sailing. Abdulmalik related that they had to dodge three hurricanes while making their way back to the Southwest. It was a reminder of the unpredictability of life on the road, but it also gave them another story to share—and it’s all part of the adventure.
For Abdulmalik and Halimah, it’s not just about the places they visit, but the connections they make along the way. The Club’s gatherings offer a sense of familiarity and warmth, and they always look forward to camping with good people who share the same love for adventure and camaraderie.
Anthony & Carrie
Carlsbad
Anthony and Carrie have been RVing for 21 years, mainly exploring the southwestern part of the country due to work and family commitments. Each destination has offered new adventures, but Palm Springs holds a special place in their hearts. Its proximity to San Diego, perfect climate, and abundance of shopping and dining options make it a favorite getaway spot. As they prepare for their next big journey, Anthony and Carrie are excited about a trip that could last up to eight months, beginning in March. They plan to visit as many national parks and states as possible, looking forward to experiencing the diverse landscapes and attractions across the U.S.

Family is a central part of Anthony and Carrie’s life, with four adult children, six grandchildren, and a seventh grandchild expected in July. They first learned about the Cruisers when they met some of the members who camped nearby, and they were immediately drawn to the fun atmosphere and camaraderie. What impressed them most, however, was the warmth and kindness they felt from the members. The welcoming and inclusive spirit of the Cruisers made it clear that this group would be a perfect fit for their travels. Anthony and Carrie are eager to join in, making new memories and friendships along the way as they embark on their exciting road trip.
Roy & Tracy
Inglewood
Roy and Tracy are an adventurous couple with over thirty years of RVing experience! Their journey into RV travel has been filled with unforgettable memories, and their love for the road continues to grow. They first discovered the Cruisers through a friend of a friend who was a founding member, and after checking out several clubs, they were drawn to the unique diversity and strong sense of community that the Cruisers offer. What truly stood out to them was the family-like atmosphere, where every campout promises fun, laughter, and camaraderie. They knew this was the group they wanted to join!
While they’ve mostly stuck to local tours due to work commitments, Roy and Tracy are excited to broaden their horizons and explore all corners of the country. They’re particularly looking forward to visiting family in the South, including in Louisiana and Mississippi, but their travel dreams extend far beyond that. With the Cruisers, they’re eager to experience new destinations, meet fellow RV enthusiasts, and create even more cherished memories along the way.
Bill & Zaheerah
Beaumont
Bill and Zaheerah (Zee) share a passion for RVing, though their journeys into the lifestyle have been quite different. Bill, an experienced camper, has been tent camping for years and has enjoyed RVing for the past 25 years. In contrast, Zee, who was born and raised in Chicago, has only been RVing for the past six years since she and Bill remarried. Despite being a "city girl" at heart, Zee has embraced RVing because it’s one of Bill’s great passions. Bill, originally from Detroit, left his hometown after high school to attend college at an HBCU. He later enlisted in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and, after his service, worked as an administrator in the California university system. Together, Bill and Zee enjoy traveling and exploring the country.
The couple shares many cherished travel memories, with Bill’s favorite RV destination being Yosemite National Park and Zee’s being the Grand Canyon. Bill appreciates Yosemite’s unique allure, noting that every visit offers something new, depending on which part of the park you explore. Zee was equally captivated by the Grand Canyon, enjoying how the experience can change with each visit. What drew them to the Cruisers was the warmth and friendliness of the members, as well as the camaraderie they found in the Club. Both Bill and Zee agree that the people they’ve met through the club have made their RVing adventures even more special.
